There are different reasons that can cause an issue with getting the Reset Password email, such as internet connection issues, server errors, firewall/antivirus settings. These situations need to be examined by an IT member or a network admin.

However, in many other cases, it is much simpler to resolve. Here are a few scenarios that can cause this situation, and the ways to fix them:

  • The email was sent to the Junk/Spam folder: This is a very common situation that we recommend checking first. To avoid this from recurring, once you trace the email, simply mark it as "not spam".

  • The email address entered to restore the password is not registered: When entering an email address to reset the password, make sure to use the email address that is associated with your account.
    To protect your privacy, we can't allow a non-registered user to access one's account on Oribi.

  • You originally signed up with Google / Facebook: When using your Google/Facebook account to sign up, you are not requested to set a password.
    In this case, all you have to do to log in is choose "Log in with Google" or "Log in with Facebook" and you're all set.
